Cala d'Or Property Services is located in Cala d'Or / Venta Lanuza, a tranquil residential area on the coast four miles north of El Campello (pop.24,000), six miles south of Villajoyosa (pop. 29,500). We chose this location for various reasons - the Costa Blanca north of Albir up to Oliva is attractive but more expensive, whereas the 25 miles between Alicante and Benidorm has largely been by-passed, mainly because here the hills come right down to the sea and this makes building more difficult - and this has protected the area from over development. The beaches are not as big and extensive as at Benidorm and Calpe but are much prettier - small sandy coves backed by low, mostly pine-covered hills.

At Cala d'Or we have an appealing mix of property from new apartments in low-rise garden urbanisations, to town houses in well-kept communities with every holiday facility, and to individual villas with fabulous sea views. We have a four star hotel - Hotel Pueblo Acantilado - a number of attractive sandy beaches and a small yacht harbour which is about to be refurbished. Communications are excellent - the main coast road (N332) connects Cala d'Or to Alicante - only twenty minutes away by car - and to Alicante Airport - only twenty five minutes. And there is a stop for the 'Lemon Express' TRAM (electric narrow-gauge train) that runs along the coast between Alicante and Denia, via Benidorm and Altea. This makes Cala d'Or an excellent place to live, close to all the essential facilities, and/or as a base for exploring the rest of the beautiful Costa Blanca.
